GMC Acadia:

The GMC Acadia is a crossover SUV manufactured by General Motors for its GMC division. The first-generation GMC Acadia shared the GM Lambda platform with the Saturn Outlook, the Chevrolet Traverse, and the Buick Enclave. The Acadia went on sale in 2006 as a 2007 model in the United States, Canada and Mexico. The Acadia replaces three of the 7- or 8-seater vehicles on the Buick-Pontiac–GMC dealership network, the midsize GMC Safari van, the GMC Envoy, and the Pontiac Montana SV6 minivan for the domestic market. As of 2009, the Lambda vehicles had replaced the Buick Rainier, Buick Rendezvous, Buick Terraza, and the GMC Envoy XL and then subsequently the GMC Envoy, Chevrolet TrailBlazer and the Isuzu Ascender. A Denali version of the Acadia debuted for 2011. In 2017, the second generation Acadia was repositioned as a mid-size crossover utility vehicle in order to compete in the growing midsize SUV market against the likes of the Ford Explorer, Edge, and the Jeep Grand Cherokee....(Read more on Wikipedia)

3.6 V6 (275 Hp) AWD Automatic Verdict:

Rating 4 stars

Performance Verdict

Despite lower horsepower, this AWD variant achieves a slightly quicker 0-100km/h time of 8.9 seconds compared to its FWD 275 Hp counterpart, likely due to superior traction off the line. Power delivery is smooth.

Fuel Economy

As expected for an AWD system, fuel economy is slightly worse than the FWD 275 Hp version, rated at 12.4 l/100 km (approx. 19 MPG). It's a trade-off for enhanced capability.

Best Use Case: Families in varied climates, those needing extra traction, balanced performance and all-weather capability.

I hate touch screens in general. I realize they are necessary when it comes to operating complex infotainment centers. But for things like seat heaters, volume controls, climate controls, basically anything I'm likely to need while I'm focusing on the road I want physical controls. I don't want to take my eyes off the road to navigate through layers of touch menus. Touch screens are being or ha

Cars are now built with everything touch screen, yet you can get a ticket for holding your phone? 🤔

Looked up an article because this is crazy that a large company approved this nonsense.  "On the other hand, this approach has practical benefits, including reducing the number of microchips needed per vehicle. This is a significant advantage, especially in light of recent global shortages that have impacted production across the industry." Guess what? They only did it to save money.
👎 NEGATIVE
Going 60MPH down the road at night holding your arm out trying to touch a small spot on an illuminated screen seems totally safe.

These things will be the first needing replacement. The whole panel will need to replaced to fix the one or two you use the most. You won’t be able to fix it. God forbid! And I promise it will be costly to sort out.
👍 POSITIVE
Oh that'd drive me nuts. Thank God my 2023 Kia came with all physical switches. The touchscreen rocks but I prefer to have a physical option

Don't like it? Stop buying these vehicles that lack proper buttons. Vote with your wallet.
👎 NEGATIVE
I'm surprised they even still make that piece of crap

Plenty of used car dealers will get a hardon for Grandma's Buick being traded in with a fat stack of service records. Karen's Acadia that barely survived her 3 crotch goblins is not in the same league.
