Is it by chance the black XT near St Catharines? I saw the ad for that car, it looks really clean! I have an 08 3.0R and I love it, fun to drive and I like how it handles over the Volvo I test drove. Especially at lower KMs, the Outback should be a good car.
👍 POSITIVE
I ran a Euro specialty shop. The issues we saw with late model 2.0 Volvos pail in comparison to what we saw with BMW, Audi, or M-B. Really, just crank vents failing (cheap fix) and small shit. They hold up very well. The early 2.0s had oil consumption and AC evaporator issues. Both seem to have been resolved. My S60 is still pretty well new at 1600 miles, but I've been thoroughly pleased with
👍 POSITIVE
I’ve had a 2020 Volvo S60 T6 AWD for almost 5 years now and over 100k miles on it and not one single problem. I’ve found it to be the most reliable vehicle I’ve ever owned.
👎 NEGATIVE
Nowhere near as reliable as they were in the olden days.
👎 NEGATIVE
They're losing that reputation due to their current Chinese ownership, but how much of that is due to racism, and how much to cha bu duo, is hard to say.
👎 NEGATIVE
Not really. They’re well made and VERY safe, as well as luxurious, but they have so much going on it’s ridiculous. I also suspect they are maybe cheaping out on the electronics and electrical pieces of the car since they certainly aren’t cheaping out on the physical materials and chassis. Ultimately a ton of problems come up with them, I’ve heard of window issues, infotainment stuff and the like.
👎 NEGATIVE
Nothing is made worth a shit anymore & everything is very hit or miss. Leasing for 3yr/36m, then dumping them right when the bumper to bumper warranty, expires is advisable.
😐 NEUTRAL
The way people think anecdotes address the question. If only there were a way to see large amounts of data.
👎 NEGATIVE
Finishing 15th out of 22 brands is not something to brag about.
