3.0 V6 SE (152 Hp) Verdict:

Rating 2 stars

Performance Verdict

Despite being a V6, this engine offers the same peak horsepower as the 2.4L. Its older design and pairing with a 3-speed automatic result in sluggish performance and a less refined driving experience. Low-end torque is decent but quickly runs out of breath.

Fuel Economy

This 3.0L V6, especially with the 3-speed automatic, is generally the least fuel-efficient option in the lineup. Expect high fuel consumption, particularly in mixed driving conditions.

Best Use Case: City (short trips)

Pros and Cons:

Pros:

  • • Spacious and versatile interior with flexible seating options
  • • Comfortable ride quality, ideal for long family trips
  • • Good visibility from the driver's seat
  • • Reliable 3.3L V6 engine option
  • • Affordable on the used market

Cons:

  • • Dated 3-speed automatic transmission severely limits performance and economy
  • • Low Euro NCAP safety rating for adult occupants
  • • Interior materials can feel cheap and prone to wear
  • • Average fuel economy across the lineup
  • • Potential for transmission issues (especially with earlier models)
