3.8 GDI V6 (315 Hp) Automatic Verdict:

Rating 4 stars

Performance Verdict

Offers a smooth and adequate power delivery for daily driving and highway cruising, though it won't set any speed records. The naturally aspirated V6 is refined but lacks the punch of its turbocharged siblings.

Fuel Economy

With a combined fuel consumption of 11.1-11.3 l/100 km, it's reasonable for a large luxury sedan with a V6, but not class-leading. Expect higher figures in urban settings.

Best Use Case: Highway cruising / Comfortable daily commuting

Pros and Cons:

Pros:

  • • Luxurious and spacious interior with high-quality materials
  • • Exceptional ride comfort and quiet cabin experience
  • • Powerful and refined engine options, especially the 3.3 T-GDI V6 and 5.0 GDI V8
  • • Strong value proposition compared to traditional European luxury rivals
  • • Comprehensive suite of standard and available technology and safety features

Cons:

  • • Brand perception may hinder sales against established luxury marques
  • • Conservative styling might not appeal to all buyers
  • • Higher fuel consumption, particularly with the V8 and AWD models
  • • Limited availability in some international markets
  • • Resale value might not match its German competitors
