Ford F-250 Super Duty:

The Ford Super Duty is a series of heavy-duty pickup trucks produced by the Ford Motor Company since the 1999 model year. Slotted above the consumer-oriented Ford F-150, the Super Duty trucks are an expansion of the Ford F-Series range, from F-250 to the F-600. The F-250 through F-450 are offered as pickup trucks, while the F-350 through F-600 are offered as chassis cabs.
Rather than adapting the lighter-duty F-150 truck for heavier use, Super Duty trucks have been designed as a dedicated variant of the Ford F-Series. The heavier-duty chassis components allow for heavier payloads and towing capabilities. With a GVWR over 8,500 lb , Super Duty pickups are Class 2 and 3 trucks, while chassis-cab trucks are offered in Classes 3, 4, 5, and 6. The model line also offers Ford Power Stroke V8 diesel engines as an option....(Read more on Wikipedia)

A capable and versatile engine, offering sufficient power for most tasks with the added benefit of 4x4 traction for varied terrain.

Fuel Economy

Lower fuel efficiency compared to the diesel, and slightly less than the 2WD gas version due to the 4x4 drivetrain.

Best Use Case: Off-road adventures, construction sites, general work where 4x4 is essential, and lighter towing with enhanced traction.

  • • Spacious and comfortable cabin, particularly in Crew Cab configuration.
  • • Advanced technology features for safety and convenience.
  • • Strong resale value for a heavy-duty truck.

Cons:

  • • Large size can be challenging for city driving and parking.
  • • Fuel economy for the 6.2L V8 gas engine can be poor, especially under load.
  • • Ride quality can be stiff when unladen, typical for heavy-duty trucks.
  • • High initial purchase price, particularly for higher trims and the diesel engine.
  • • Limited maneuverability in tight spaces due to its length and width.
