Dacia Sandero:
The Dacia Sandero is a subcompact car/supermini car produced and marketed jointly by the French manufacturer Renault and its Romanian subsidiary Dacia since 2007, currently at its third generation. It has been also marketed as the Renault Sandero in certain markets, such as Russia, Latin America, Iran, Egypt, and Sub-Saharan Africa. Dacia Sandero has been Europe's best selling car several years in a row.
With a slightly shorter wheelbase than the Dacia Logan sedan from which it derives, the Sandero was developed at Renault's Technocentre near Paris, France, in conjunction with the regional engineering centres based in Brazil and Romania. It was revealed for the first time at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show, and made its formal market debut in Brazil, as a Renault model, in December 2007, being the first Renault model to debut outside Europe....(Read more on Wikipedia)
III Stepway Overview:
Dacia Sandero (III Stepway). With 142 Nm of torque, it offers ample pulling power. It boasts low fuel consumption (~6 l/100km). Weighing only 1117 kg, it’s quite light. Front‑wheel drive delivers efficiency and easy handling. A vehicle that combines characteristics of SUVs and hatchbacks for versatility. Seating for 5 makes it ideal for daily use.
Performance Verdict
Paired with a CVT, this 91 Hp engine offers smooth, albeit less engaging, acceleration. While specific acceleration figures are not provided, expect a slightly more relaxed feel compared to the manual, ideal for urban environments.
Fuel Economy
Achieving 5.2 l/100 km combined, the CVT variant surprisingly offers slightly better fuel economy than the manual, enhancing its appeal for city commuters seeking efficiency.
