2.0 HDi (120 Hp) L2H1 Verdict:

Rating 4 stars

Performance Verdict

An adequate engine for the L2H1 body, providing sufficient power (15.4s 0-100km/h) for most tasks, though not particularly sprightly, especially when loaded.

Fuel Economy

Reasonable fuel economy (7.2-7.6 l/100 km), but the DPF-equipped versions might offer slightly better figures and emissions compliance.

Best Use Case: General commercial use, light to medium load hauling, urban and inter-city routes where DPF isn't strictly required.

Pros and Cons:

Pros:

  • • Versatile body configurations for cargo or passengers
  • • Strong and efficient 2.0 HDi diesel engines (136hp, 163hp)
  • • Car-like driving dynamics and comfortable ride for a commercial vehicle
  • • Good payload and cargo capacity across variants
  • • Generally reliable PSA powertrains

Cons:

  • • Modest 3-star Euro NCAP safety rating
  • • 1.6 HDi engines can be significantly underpowered for larger or loaded variants
  • • Petrol engine is notably thirsty compared to diesels
  • • Interior plastics and cabin design can feel utilitarian
  • • Older models may lack modern technology and driver assistance features
