2.0 HDi 16V (109 Hp) 8 Seat Verdict:

Rating 4 stars

Performance Verdict

While acceleration is slower than the petrol, the diesel engine's strong torque (typical for HDi) provides excellent pulling power, making it feel robust, especially with a full load.

Fuel Economy

An impressive 7.0 l/100 km makes this diesel variant highly economical, particularly beneficial for long journeys or frequent use, offsetting the higher initial cost.

Best Use Case: Ideal for large families, taxi services, or businesses requiring efficient transport for multiple passengers and luggage over long distances.

Pros and Cons:

Pros:

  • • Spacious and highly practical interior for passengers and cargo
  • • Excellent fuel economy with the HDi diesel engines
  • • Robust and reliable powertrain options (especially HDi)
  • • Good value for money as a used family or utility vehicle
  • • Comfortable ride for long journeys

Cons:

  • • Basic interior design and materials
  • • Limited safety features by modern standards (2-star Euro NCAP)
  • • Petrol engines can be thirsty, especially with automatic transmission
  • • Performance is adequate but not exciting
  • • Some road noise at higher speeds
