3.2 (243 Hp) Automatic 7 Seat Verdict:

Rating 3 stars

Performance Verdict

Offers adequate power for daily driving and highway cruising, but acceleration is not particularly spirited for its size.

Fuel Economy

High fuel consumption, especially in urban environments, making it a less economical choice compared to diesel variants.

Best Use Case: Mixed driving, suitable for families prioritizing space and comfort over outright performance or fuel efficiency.

The timing chain problem is caused by people not changing engine oil often enough and not keeping oil full.  This is common in all neglected vehicles not a design problem.
👎 NEGATIVE
Howdy, I know this is a very late response, but I have some info I've connected. I believe 2012-2013 was when the timing chain issue was starting to be alleviated. But they can still experience the issue if they have oil issues on your particular engine. The issue is caused by the fact that the timing chain is oil pressure based, and as the engine uses oil or the oil becomes fouled, the timing c

My dad has a 3.6 llt in his cadillac cts 09. Its at 207k miles still running fine. I have a 2010 cts wagon at around 130k... still running fine.

I realize how late this response is. Ive put 126,000 miles on a 3.6 I bought in a used Traverse. Change the oil at a 5k mile interval or less, and always check and make sure your oil level is good. This engine has run strong with no issues other than the stupid purge valve problem which really isn’t engine related. The ONLY things I’ve done to this engine is a tune up at 100,000 miles (that’s

As someone that picked up the fwd version of a 08 enclave, from a lady sick of dumping money in it when it needed a water pump, got a single owner garage kept clean 08, for 600$, 170k I have only put 5k miles on it, and in that time I have had to put a water pump, power steering pump, alternator, tensioner, and belt. Timing cover is leaking, so just keeping a eye on the oil until I can to the chai

The diesels. I have an S90 D4 Inscription with the B&W. I service it annually and put 2 new tyres on every Winter. That's it.

2011-2015 --T6 3.0T. Any of the p3 models with the T6..not the troublesome t5...solid motor and trans. Good Build quality before the downhill fall
👍 POSITIVE
I bought a 2011 v50 2.4 fwd ten years ago and it’s been great. Only oil changes, cv axles and an ac compressor in a decade.
👍 POSITIVE
I’m at 193k miles on my 4.4 V8 XC90, had zero major issues. Only stuff I’ve had to fix were a few ignition coils that kicked the bucket and a radiator fan that decided to stop working.
