Toyota Corolla:

The Toyota Corolla is a series of compact cars manufactured and marketed globally by the Japanese automaker Toyota Motor Corporation. Introduced in 1966, the Corolla has been the world's best-selling automobile nameplate of all time since 1997, when it surpassed the Volkswagen Beetle. Toyota reached the milestone of 50 million Corollas sold over twelve generations in 2021.
The name Corolla is part of Toyota's naming tradition of using names derived from the Toyota Crown for sedans, with "corolla" Latin for "small crown". The Corolla has always been exclusive in Japan to Toyota Corolla Store locations, and manufactured in Japan with a twin, called the Toyota Sprinter until 2000. From 2006 to 2018 in Japan and much of the world, and from 2018 to 2020 in Taiwan, the hatchback companion had been called the Toyota Auris....(Read more on Wikipedia)

Look it up on KBB, the price seems a little higher.

Seems too high to me. Hertz sells 2018 Corollas about same mileage at a similar price, at least in my area of SoCal. I would opt for an older one over the 2018 to avoid the CVT. Not suggesting you buy an old rental, just used it as a price reference. Do some more price shopping. My perfect car would also be the Corolla Touring Sports Hybrid if they'd bring it to US. But instead they will flood the market with more SUVs and crossovers. If they brought the wagon to the states I'd buy one immediately. That said, I'm currently leaning toward an Accord hybrid for my next car. The Tourx is appealing and heavily discounted but 21mpg in the city is a deal breaker with my com

Welcome to the family! I’ve had my 23 DCT for 3 months and it still puts a smile on my face every time I drive it

You can't really go wrong with a corolla or camry. If you wanted something around about the same, but a little less boring, a lexus IS is essentially a flashier Camry. I have one and its great. Out of the EVs I would go the Tesla, in 2019, Tesla were the kings of EV (That's now BYD) so their ride was the best of the bunch. The Kia carnival is decent also, but honestly if you think the IX35 is expe

Get a Corolla, Camry, Civic, or Accord with twice the miles. The Nissan CVT transmission is worthless and you can expect it to blow up any minute. There was a class action lawsuit that almost bankrupted the company. It isn't actually so much a transmission as it is a fragmentation grenade they tried to pass off as a transmission. A Toyota or Honda will go 300k miles if you change the oil once a y

Buy a Corolla or Camry with less than 120k on it, as long as you do the basic maintenance you’ll get to 200k without problems. Don’t go to a dealer you’ll end up getting fleeced no matter whatever bs they spout to you, ik marketplace can be intimidating but it’s where you will get the best deal. Ask for the VIN before meeting and run a carfax. Look for one owner cars if possible, odds are if someo

Honestly I'd either use $10k as a down payment on a newer financed car or I'd get the best Corolla that $5k could get me and use the rest for repairs and maintenance. As much as I hate to say it $5k gets you a 2005-2008 Corolla with roughly 150k miles on it. I have a 2005 Corolla with 364k miles so they last a while. Something else to look at is the Pontiac Vibe, which is just a rebadged Toyota Ma
