Subaru Impreza V Hatchback 2.0i (156 Hp) AWD Lineartronic

Subaru Impreza:

The Subaru Impreza is a compact car that has been manufactured by the Japanese automaker Subaru since 1992. It was introduced as a replacement for the Leone, with the predecessor's EA series engines replaced by the new EJ series. It is now in its sixth generation.
Subaru has offered a 5-door hatchback body variant since 2008. The firm also offered a coupe from 1995 until 2001, a 4-door sedan up to the fifth generation, and a 5-door wagon from the Impreza's introduction which was replaced by a hatchback with the third generation in 2008. Mainstream versions have received "boxer" flat-four engines ranging from 1. 5- to 2. 5-liters, with the performance-oriented Impreza WRX and WRX STI models upgraded with the addition of turbochargers. Since the third generation series, some markets have adopted the abbreviated Subaru WRX name for these high-performance variants. The first three generations of Impreza were also available with an off-road appearance non-SUV package called the Outback Sport, exclusive to the North American market. For the fourth generation, this appearance package was raised up to be subcompact crossover SUV and renamed the XV , and is sold internationally. Colloquially, the car is sometimes referred to as Scooby....(Read more on Wikipedia)

I bought a 2017 Impreza Sport 5 door after turning in my A3 due to the diesel scandal. I absolutely love it! I'm at just over a thousand miles and I'm averaging 25mpg but my commute is less than 15 miles round trip and it's almost all city driving. Aside from the disappointing mpg, I have no complaints and I'm hoping the mpg will get better over time. I admit that I'm a bit of a lead foot thoug

First and foremost I am very happy with my purchase - I got the 5 door premium for a few bucks over $26k - I got the eyesight, moonroof and other bits and pieces. I've got about 1200 miles on it so far so engine is pretty much broken in. The first few gas tanks I was getting about 25 mpg but now I am getting 29mpg. I did a trip down south with 1.5 hours on the freeway once going like 65 the whole

I've had my 2017 Impreza Sport hatchback manual for about 3 weeks, love it. The Sport comes with a lot of cool things, larger touchscreen infotainment, better and more speakers, push button start, and cargo cover. It's a very fun car to drive, not sure how fun the automatic would be. My gas mileage is pretty bad, 23 mpg with a mix of 75% city and 25% highway driving. However, the automatic will

I'm gonna chime in with the disappointing gas millage myself, but the engine isn't even half way broken in yet. First tank was 28.8 MPG, while the computer reported 25 MPG. 25% into the 2nd tank and it is indicating 28 MPG. As for fun to drive: yes. The paddle shifters really help out here, along with the quick steering. Premium hatchback with eyesight, but it's not exactly a commuter because I'

Piling on at this point, but I've had my Limited CVT 5D Impreza for two months. The ride and handling are GREAT! The MPG is more like 25-26 City, 30-32 highway.

2014 Impreza hatch owner here. Im 40k into mine and I average 32 mpg in summer and around 28-29 mpg in the winter. Commute is mostly country roads and around town. I live in a semi rural area south of Chicago. My tires are pretty well worn right now so my mpg's have dropped to about 26 avg. Ive done several lengthy road trips and it averages 35-37mpg on the highway. Slightly lower with a full load

You can check NADA and KBB for appropriate price points. Looking at other local listings for similar Imprezas (at varying mileage and around 14-17) to see if it's fairly priced. It sounds fine to me, though. My SO purchased a '15 (or is it a '16? I forget) Impreza hatchback brand new for just a little over 20k with all the bells and whistles. I really like the car. Everything works great;

Looking at getting a 2021 Sti soon. Just wondering if anyone has any input, I had a 2017 Wrx for a few years and did a boomba shift plate, brass bushing, sti transmission mount, and shift stop and it made shifting like butter. Are there any things like those that improve the shifting feeling further?

*"I cannot recommend enough the first chance you get accessing the two caliper bolts on each wheel (only two bolts holding the brake system on the hub) and putting anti-seize on there."* Is it safe to just remove a single caliper bolt, apply anti-seize, put it back on, then do the same with the other one? Or do you have to remove the pads or anything else before you do this even if just doing a s

The link to the exhaust comparison doesn’t work for me?
