Subaru Impreza IV Hatchback (facelift 2015) 2.0i (150 Hp) AWD

Subaru Impreza:

The Subaru Impreza is a compact car that has been manufactured by the Japanese automaker Subaru since 1992. It was introduced as a replacement for the Leone, with the predecessor's EA series engines replaced by the new EJ series. It is now in its sixth generation.
Subaru has offered a 5-door hatchback body variant since 2008. The firm also offered a coupe from 1995 until 2001, a 4-door sedan up to the fifth generation, and a 5-door wagon from the Impreza's introduction which was replaced by a hatchback with the third generation in 2008. Mainstream versions have received "boxer" flat-four engines ranging from 1. 5- to 2. 5-liters, with the performance-oriented Impreza WRX and WRX STI models upgraded with the addition of turbochargers. Since the third generation series, some markets have adopted the abbreviated Subaru WRX name for these high-performance variants. The first three generations of Impreza were also available with an off-road appearance non-SUV package called the Outback Sport, exclusive to the North American market. For the fourth generation, this appearance package was raised up to be subcompact crossover SUV and renamed the XV , and is sold internationally. Colloquially, the car is sometimes referred to as Scooby....(Read more on Wikipedia)

Factory ordered a 2023 Impreza 5 door base on 9/7. Our dealer (NY/NJ metro area) estimated 4 months. It arrived on Monday and we picked it up yesterday. I think the base Impreza is a fantastic value. Debated spending an extra $2,100 for the premium package, but really wanted to keep costs low. Also, being the last model year of this generation, hopefully all the kinks have been worked out. Bes

Previous owner of a 2013 impreza hatchback: No. Totally not reliable. Would not recommend. I bought it at 32k miles and sold it at 91k. It was absolutely terrible for me, and I'm somebody who follows the maintenance schedule closely. By the end of ownership it was basically junk. CVT shifts were awful, oil burned at an absurd rate, the wheel bearings were noisy as hell at 50k, and after replacem

You're going to almost pay more for this one than a new one 💀. You're young so you're going to get slammed by interest and probably insurance. Don't forget the typical junk dealer add ons and warranty. Used car maintenance on a miled car like this. 100k tends to be the breaking point for a lot of things. 16k can get a Mazda 3 GT with less mileage and a lot more fun compared to the absolute barest

I got this same exact 2019 Corolla, except the LE, with the same exact miles that was equally over priced. Definitely keep shopping around because there most certainly are better deals out there.

Quick question and I’m sure it’s covered I couldn’t find it… intakes on a 2021 STI. Yes or no and which one. Do I need an immediate tune as well. I ordered an ETS and then read some stuff so I called them told them my car and year and the guy assured me it was fine without a tune. I haven’t even unboxed it yet and now I’m thinking about sending it right back. Thank you.

Own a 2020 sti with 10k miles on it. At around 9.5k miles I noticed brake squeaking during light-moderate braking. Asked the dealership about it during my last oil change and they told me my brakes are fine but the material that brembo brakes are made of causes squeaking. Is this a valid explanation for the squeaking or should I take it elsewhere to get looked at? If it truly is the brembo brake m

Roughly how much oil can I expect the car to eat in a thousand miles? I can tell some is going, but I want to make sure it's a normal amount before I start to worry lol
😐 NEUTRAL
Do these engines seriously eat that much oil, empirically speaking? Eating enough oil to be noticeable every 1k? Even when new? Most old engines end up eating oil, of course, but is this something that happens day 1? Hydraulic steering leaks - is it that big of an issue? Of all the vehicles I've owned and known, literally just one needed a power steering rack replacement due to a leak after ~100K

Thanks for all of the information guys! This type of info is exactly what I was looking for, and I appreciate the hard work it took to provide all of it. I just have a question, curiosity mostly, but has anyone noticed a more smooth shifting experience with traction control (TC) off? I am new to AWD vehicles, and I do enjoy the raw and revving feeling of my STI, but realized I wasn't shifting as s
