Hub bearing is a cheap part. If the transmission has been serviced and the car overall is in good shape, It's probably a good buy. If the car has a wrecked interior, bunch of dents, things just unkept, I'd question how well the maintenance was done. The best thing you can do is call a local shop who does used car inspections. Ask the guy if he'd bring it for one, then you'll get an expert opinion

That is the exact car my wife has and according to her the car is not grey it’s “prosthetic leg”. All around been extremely reliable, bought new 92k miles on it now, no major issues. 😊

I currently have a 2017 with 70k miles. I love the car. It’s taken me from Washington to Kansas to Arizona with zero issues and still holds strong. Only needed the necessary maintenance and some new tires.

Imo I wouldn’t purchase with that many miles. If I buy used I try to aim for under 100k mikes depending on the maker.

Definitely take it to a shop. Ask about head gaskets as it’s a common issue on Subarus. Timing belt, water pump, and fluids are also good to check service history on. If they haven’t been done prepare to spend about $800 on those. Check tread on tires too. Seems like a solid price, maybe a little high. Mention your service concerns and see how flexible they are with price

Hey guys! Late to the party here. I have a ‘23 Subaru Crosstrek sport. Two things: 1. 2023 is still second generation and all the numbers above apply to the ‘23 model. 2. The guy at Discount Tire is adamant that the METHOD RACE WHEELS MR502 VT-SPEC 15x7 won’t fit and will damage the brake caliper. Do I tell them to just order it or does he have a point? Thanks!
