I (facelift 2015) Overview:
Renault Duster (I (facelift 2015)). With 148 Nm of torque, it offers ample pulling power. It has moderate fuel consumption (~10.3 l/100km). Weighing only 1286 kg, it’s quite light. All‑wheel drive provides excellent grip, ideal for off‑road use. Acceleration is relatively slow (0–100 km/h in 13.5 s). The top speed reaches 160 km/h. A sport utility vehicle offering higher ground clearance and versatile cargo space. Seating for 5 makes it ideal for daily use.
Performance Verdict
The 105 Hp engine struggles with the added weight and drag of the AWD system, resulting in sluggish acceleration and limited highway overtaking capability.
Fuel Economy
Higher fuel consumption compared to its FWD counterpart, making it less efficient due to the AWD system without a significant power boost.
Best Use Case:
Light off-road use at lower speeds, or for drivers who absolutely need AWD but are on a tight budget and don't prioritize performance.
Pros and Cons:
Pros:
- • Excellent value for money and affordability.
- • Robust and reliable mechanicals, especially the diesel engines.

- • Limited advanced safety features compared to rivals.
- • Some petrol engines can feel underpowered, especially with AWD.
- • Ride comfort can be firm on rougher roads.
- • Outdated automatic transmission options.
