1.2 PureTech (130 Hp) EAT8 Verdict:

Rating 3 stars

Performance Verdict

Adequate performance for urban environments and relaxed driving. It can feel a bit strained when pushed hard or on faster roads, but the EAT8 gearbox manages the power well.

Fuel Economy

Decent fuel economy for a petrol engine of this size, suitable for those who don't cover high mileage or prefer petrol over diesel/hybrid.

Best Use Case: City driving, suburban commutes, and drivers prioritizing lower initial cost over outright performance or maximum efficiency.

Pros and Cons:

Pros:

  • • Striking and distinctive fastback design
  • • Highly comfortable ride quality and refined interior
  • • Efficient and powerful plug-in hybrid options

  • • PSE variant offers genuine performance and AWD capability

Cons:

  • • Rear headroom and legroom can be tight for taller passengers due to the fastback roofline

  • • Infotainment system can be less intuitive than some rivals
  • • Entry-level petrol and diesel engines are adequate but not exhilarating
  • • Limited rear visibility due to the sleek design
