1.8 (96 Hp) Verdict:

Rating 3 stars

Performance Verdict

The most capable engine in the lineup, offering the best acceleration (15s 0-100km/h) and making highway travel more feasible. Still a basic, non-performance engine, but the most 'lively'.

Fuel Economy

Despite the higher power, fuel economy is expected to be similar to the lower-powered 1.8L, reflecting the older engine technology and carburettor system.

Best Use Case: Mixed / Highway

Pros and Cons:

Pros:

  • • Extremely simple and robust mechanics, easy to repair
