The MKZ Hybrid, Lincoln's first, was introduced for MY 2011. 3.5 V6 24V (263 Hp) AWD Automatic Verdict:

Rating 4 stars

Performance Verdict

With AWD, this V6 variant offers improved traction and slightly quicker acceleration, enhancing confidence and control in varied driving conditions without sacrificing much power.

Fuel Economy

Fuel consumption is higher than the FWD V6, a reasonable trade-off for the added grip and stability provided by the all-wheel-drive system, especially in adverse weather.

Best Use Case: All-weather driving / Regions with snow / Enhanced traction

Pros and Cons:

Pros:

  • • Comfortable and quiet ride quality
  • • Available efficient hybrid powertrain
  • • Spacious interior for its class
  • • Refined V6 engine performance
  • • Good value on the used market

Cons:

  • • Interior design can feel dated compared to rivals
  • • Handling is more comfort-oriented than sporty
  • • Fuel economy of non-hybrid V6 models is average
  • • Lack of Euro NCAP testing (though good US ratings)
