1.8 i-VTEC (142 Hp) Automatic Verdict:

Rating 7 stars

Performance Verdict

While retaining the same 142 Hp, the automatic transmission significantly impacts acceleration, resulting in a slower 10.7-second 0-100 km/h time, making it less spirited than the manual.

Fuel Economy

Surprisingly, the automatic variant achieves a slightly better combined fuel economy of 6.6 l/100 km, likely due to optimized gear ratios for cruising efficiency.

Best Use Case: Ideal for urban environments and drivers prioritizing comfort and ease of use over outright performance.

Pros and Cons:

Pros:

  • • Excellent fuel efficiency, especially with the hybrid option
  • • Honda's renowned reliability and low maintenance costs
  • • Spacious and practical interior for a compact sedan
  • • Comfortable ride quality suitable for daily commuting
  • • Strong safety ratings from Euro NCAP

Cons:

  • • Interior styling may feel dated or polarizing to some
  • • Road noise can be noticeable at higher speeds
  • • Automatic transmission can feel sluggish compared to manual
