Rating 4 stars

Performance Verdict

A solid gasoline V8, providing strong performance for most hauling and towing needs, though it lacks the diesel's low-end torque for extreme loads.

Fuel Economy

Lower fuel economy compared to the diesel, particularly when working hard, but offers a lower initial purchase price and simpler maintenance.

Best Use Case: General work truck, lighter to moderate towing, daily driving, and applications where a gasoline engine is preferred for cost or simplicity.

  • • Robust build quality and durable chassis, designed for heavy work.
  • • Comfortable interior for a heavy-duty truck, suitable for long hauls.
  • • Strong engine options catering to various needs, from gas to diesel and CNG.

Cons:

  • • Large size can be cumbersome for city driving and parking.
  • • Fuel economy for gasoline models is relatively low, especially under load.
  • • Ride quality can be stiff when the truck is unloaded.
  • • Lacks some advanced technology and interior refinements found in newer models.
