The Ford F-150 Lightning is a battery electric light duty full-size pickup truck unveiled by the Ford Motor Company in May 2021 as part of the fourteenth generation Ford F-Series. Four models have been announced, and all models initially will be dual-motor, four-wheel-drive, with EPA range estimates of 240–320 mi. Ford F-Series F-100/F-150 (F-Series F-150 XIII SuperCrew). With 343 Nm of torque, it offers ample pulling power. At around 2145 kg, it’s on the heavier side. All‑wheel drive provides excellent grip, ideal for off‑road use. A vehicle with an open cargo bed at the back, suitable for transporting goods. Seating for 5 makes it ideal for daily use.
Performance Verdict
Provides sufficient power for everyday driving and moderate off-road excursions with the added traction of 4x4. Performance is solid but not exhilarating.
