Daewoo Nubira:
Daewoo Nubira is a compact car which was produced by the South Korean automaker Daewoo from 1997 to 2002 as a 4-door sedan, 5-door hatchback and a 5-door station wagon.
The Daewoo Nubira was released in 1997 reflecting Daewoo's new found design and manufacturing process. Production took under 30 months by ex-Porsche and BMW engineering chief Dr. Ulrich Bez , with Daewoo's growing in-house R&D network in Korea, Worthing and Munich collaborating with the world's best engineering consultancies. Hatchback II Overview:
Daewoo Nubira (Hatchback II). With 184 Nm of torque, it offers ample pulling power. Weighing only 1205 kg, it’s quite light. Front‑wheel drive delivers efficiency and easy handling. Acceleration is good (0–100 km/h in 9 s). The top speed reaches 195 km/h. A compact car with a rear door that swings upward to provide access to the cargo area. Seating for 5 makes it ideal for daily use.
Performance Verdict
Offers adequate power for daily driving, though the automatic transmission can feel sluggish and impacts responsiveness, making it less engaging.
Fuel Economy
Fuel consumption is on the higher side, especially in urban settings (12.2 l/100 km), typical for an older automatic 2.0L engine.
Best Use Case:
Mixed driving, occasional highway trips where the automatic transmission provides ease of use.
