1.5 Turbo (175 Hp) CVT Verdict:

Rating 4 stars

Performance Verdict

Provides smooth and linear acceleration, typical of a CVT, making it comfortable for city driving. The 175 Hp is sufficient, though some drivers might find the CVT's 'rubber band' effect less engaging than a traditional automatic.

Fuel Economy

Likely to offer slightly better fuel efficiency in urban environments compared to the Hydra-Matic version, due to the CVT's ability to keep the engine in its most efficient RPM range.

Best Use Case: Ideal for urban and suburban driving where smooth, effortless acceleration and maximum fuel economy are prioritized. Less suited for heavy towing or aggressive driving.

Pros and Cons:

Pros:

  • • Modern and efficient 1.5L turbocharged engine
  • • Spacious interior and generous cargo capacity (845-1799L)
  • • Available AWD for enhanced traction and capability
  • • Contemporary exterior design and updated interior features
  • • Choice of traditional automatic or fuel-efficient CVT transmission

Cons:

  • • Performance is adequate but not sporty for enthusiasts
  • • New generation, so long-term reliability is yet to be fully established
  • • 680 kg permitted trailer load is relatively low
  • • Euro NCAP safety rating not yet available
