Acura CSX:

The Acura CSX is Acura's subcompact executive car exclusively designed for the Canadian market and sold from 2006–2011 model years. Like the Acura EL, it was only available in Canada and built in Alliston, Ontario, Canada. For the 2013 model year, the ILX was introduced as the CSX's replacement and is available in both the United States and Canada.

Performance Verdict

With the same 157 Hp K20Z2 engine, the manual transmission variant offers a more engaging driving experience. While acceleration figures aren't provided, a manual typically allows for better utilization of the engine's power band, making it feel more spirited.

Fuel Economy

Expected to be marginally more fuel-efficient than the automatic in some driving conditions, though official figures are not differentiated. The K20Z2 remains a solid performer in terms of efficiency for its displacement.

Best Use Case: Enthusiastic Daily Driving / Mixed City & Highway

  • • Strong safety record based on the Civic platform

Cons:

  • • Exclusive to the Canadian market, limiting availability
  • • Performance is adequate but not particularly exciting
