Performance Verdict

A strong mid-range option, providing a good balance of power and drivability. It feels more spirited than the 1.6 and is a popular choice.

Acceptable fuel economy for a 2.0L carbureted engine of its time, but not particularly frugal.

Best Use Case: Balanced daily driving, spirited occasional use, or for those wanting more power without the V6's running costs.

  • • Iconic classic styling with a sporty coupe silhouette.
  • • Wide range of engines catering to various budgets and performance needs.
  • • Engaging rear-wheel-drive handling characteristics.
