Expert Note:
The Doninvest Kondor V100 was not officially tested by Euro NCAP. As a rebadged 90s design, its passive and active safety features would be considered basic by modern standards, likely offering limited protection compared to contemporary vehicles.

2.0i 16V (133 Hp) Automatic Verdict:

Rating 3 stars

Performance Verdict

Performance is noticeably dulled by the automatic transmission, resulting in slower acceleration compared to the manual variant, making it less spirited.

Fuel Economy

Expected to have higher fuel consumption than the manual version, especially in urban conditions, due to the less efficient automatic gearbox of the era.

Best Use Case: Primarily city driving and comfortable cruising where ease of use is prioritized over performance.

Pros and Cons:

Pros:

  • • Comfortable ride quality for its segment.
  • • Spacious interior and decent trunk capacity.
  • • Relatively powerful 2.0L engine for the era (manual).
  • • Affordable alternative to European imports.

Cons:

  • • Dated design and interior compared to Western rivals.
  • • High urban fuel consumption.
  • • Automatic transmission significantly impacts performance.
  • • Limited availability of parts and service outside specific markets.
