Vauxhall Victor:
The Vauxhall Victor is a large family car produced by Vauxhall from 1957 until 1976. The Victor was introduced to replace the outgoing Wyvern model. FD Estate Overview:
Vauxhall Victor (FD Estate). Weighing only 1053 kg, it’s quite light. Rear‑wheel drive offers dynamic handling and sporty feedback. A car with an extended rear cargo area, combining passenger comfort with increased storage. Seating for 5 makes it ideal for daily use.
Performance Verdict
The 3.3L inline-six delivered adequate power for comfortable cruising and hauling, providing smooth acceleration rather than outright speed for a 1968 estate car.
Fuel Economy
Fuel economy was a secondary concern in 1968; the 3.3L engine would be considered thirsty by modern standards, likely achieving low double-digit MPG figures.
Best Use Case:
Long-distance cruising, family travel, light towing.
