Toyota Corolla:

The Toyota Corolla is a series of compact cars manufactured and marketed globally by the Japanese automaker Toyota Motor Corporation. Introduced in 1966, the Corolla has been the world's best-selling automobile nameplate of all time since 1997, when it surpassed the Volkswagen Beetle. Toyota reached the milestone of 50 million Corollas sold over twelve generations in 2021.
The name Corolla is part of Toyota's naming tradition of using names derived from the Toyota Crown for sedans, with "corolla" Latin for "small crown". The Corolla has always been exclusive in Japan to Toyota Corolla Store locations, and manufactured in Japan with a twin, called the Toyota Sprinter until 2000. From 2006 to 2018 in Japan and much of the world, and from 2018 to 2020 in Taiwan, the hatchback companion had been called the Toyota Auris....(Read more on Wikipedia)

Dude you're buying a Corolla with 45k on it. It could of been drivien like a race car for that entire period of time and still have 200k left on it. Not being able to test drive is weird. You need to sit in traffic (blast the AC), and take it up to 80 on the highway.
👍 POSITIVE
I did one of these where they let me rent the car and if I bought it they would credit me for the rental cost. I took it home for the week end and decided not to buy car, but it was a fair deal cost wise. Unfortunately this car smelled like smoke even though it was a not smoking rental. Good choice for a vehicle, Corolla's are one of the most reliable cars made.
😐 NEUTRAL
Look it up on KBB, the price seems a little higher.
👎 NEGATIVE
Seems too high to me. Hertz sells 2018 Corollas about same mileage at a similar price, at least in my area of SoCal. I would opt for an older one over the 2018 to avoid the CVT. Not suggesting you buy an old rental, just used it as a price reference. Do some more price shopping. The Honda has a better interior and motor imo. Toyota may have the advantage on infotainment. I drive the new Corolla at work all the time and they're just meh. Take a look at the Mazda3 too!
👎 NEGATIVE
Honda's really trying to win buyers with this update and Toyota is really trying to milk money out of old engineering and the Carolla name. I think the Hinda is the much better car.
👍 POSITIVE
A 150k mile Toyota will still be perfectly fine. You should lose the whole within 10 years thing. You have to learn how to settle and stay in budget
