Toyota Corolla:

The Toyota Corolla is a series of compact cars manufactured and marketed globally by the Japanese automaker Toyota Motor Corporation. Introduced in 1966, the Corolla has been the world's best-selling automobile nameplate of all time since 1997, when it surpassed the Volkswagen Beetle. Toyota reached the milestone of 50 million Corollas sold over twelve generations in 2021.
The name Corolla is part of Toyota's naming tradition of using names derived from the Toyota Crown for sedans, with "corolla" Latin for "small crown". The Corolla has always been exclusive in Japan to Toyota Corolla Store locations, and manufactured in Japan with a twin, called the Toyota Sprinter until 2000. From 2006 to 2018 in Japan and much of the world, and from 2018 to 2020 in Taiwan, the hatchback companion had been called the Toyota Auris....(Read more on Wikipedia)

KBB isn't a reliable price source 6k is too much, but depends on mileage, I don't see it displayed here If over 120k miles, it's overpriced Edit: I see 117k miles, not worth 6k, I'd offer 3.5-4k

Are you saying the car listed here is $2000 cheaper than the one your family member is trying to hold for you? If so, to answer your question your family member is not doing you a favor by "holding" the car for you as you would be paying them almost double the value of the cars worth. Even the listing here is quite steep. MAX $4500 MAX.

all cars can have issues, all that “family owned dealership” did was wash and detail that car and put it up for sale (after probably buying it for $2k), maybe changed the oil and air filter. idk what they mean by they service and guarantee every car they sell… does that mean if it needs new shocks next month, or is burning oil, or fails emissions etc. that they’ll fix it? try to find reviews from

I don't see mileage listed here. If the car has <60k then it may not be terrible, but if it has the normal mileage for a car this age then tell your family member to go ahead and sell privately as you'll keep looking

I live in the DelMarVa area and sadly this car will sell at this price around here. The market is absolutely screwed especially with so many scammy resellers buying up marketplace/craigslist cars. I am looking all over for sub 5k after my car got totaled and it is all rust buckets, rebuilt titles, scumlord flippers, auction flippers, parts cannon specials, and cars with 180,000 or higher miles a

And that's in immaculate condition..which I'm sure it's not.

How many miles on the odometer?
👍 POSITIVE
This is a very clean vehicle. It's a three-owner car. There are very few oil changes shown with the first two owners which covered about 60,000 miles. That doesn't mean they weren't done, you just can't know. The third owner went to Valvoline so all the records are there and it was serviced more often than necessary. Given that history and the fact that it's the top trim, the price isn't crazy but

I see ts in PA. Check undercarriage for salt damage. But it is overpriced
👍 POSITIVE
2014 Corolla here, closing in on 120,000miles and the only repair I’ve had to make was during covid when mice ate some wires because my car sat in the driveway too long. If I’m being honest I’m painfully bored of the car at this point and on the verge of buying something much less practical but the corolla has been such a champ for me for 7+ years now.
