Toyota Corolla:

The Toyota Corolla is a series of compact cars manufactured and marketed globally by the Japanese automaker Toyota Motor Corporation. Introduced in 1966, the Corolla has been the world's best-selling automobile nameplate of all time since 1997, when it surpassed the Volkswagen Beetle. The name Corolla is part of Toyota's naming tradition of using names derived from the Toyota Crown for sedans, with "corolla" Latin for "small crown". The Corolla has always been exclusive in Japan to Toyota Corolla Store locations, and manufactured in Japan with a twin, called the Toyota Sprinter until 2000. From 2006 to 2018 in Japan and much of the world, and from 2018 to 2020 in Taiwan, the hatchback companion had been called the Toyota Auris....(Read more on Wikipedia)

Offers a good balance of power and refinement for the segment, providing more confident acceleration and highway cruising ability than the 1.5i. The automatic transmission is smooth.

Fuel Economy

Reasonable fuel economy for a 1.8L petrol engine of its era, slightly less efficient than the 1.5i but a good compromise for the added power.

I have a 2025 LE at 6000 miles. I have not noticed a rattle, but I do agree about the cabin/ road noise.
👎 NEGATIVE
I have 650 on mine, also had rattling. It was the passenger belt buckle hitting the door frame.
😐 NEUTRAL
I thought the suspension on the LE models where smooth?
😐 NEUTRAL
Do an oil change now. Any car you get new you should change oil early during first couple thousand miles. As the parts of the engine mate with each other, they produce higher wear rates and the oil should be changed early to remove any debris that break in caused. Worth it and your engine will thank you

My 2025 Corolla se hatchback is about to hit 2k as well. No rattle noticed. Changed engine oil 0w-16 at 1550. You can adjust the sound in the settings to your liking, that I did. this is my 9th car and I had VW GTI mk7 before so not impressed at all with handling or suspension loading when turning at high speed but it a Corolla. Weak AC. Best mpg gasoline car I ever had and the first dua

I hear the rattling as well. Mine is ‘25 LE with around 700 miles. I thought it was the stupid dealer’s frame on the plate. But you’re right. It comes from the front passenger side. Please update if you find the source

You drive only 2000 miles ( 3218 km) Go back to the garage. 100% when i hear noises in my brand new car i go back.
👎 NEGATIVE
I have a rattle noise on my 23 LE, it’s the rear view mirror the plastic is loose. I tightened it but nothing works and the dealer did the same.
👎 NEGATIVE
Update: Turns out, the rattling sound is from the passenger’s seat. When someone sits in it, there’s no sound. Otherwise it’s wobbly.
👎 NEGATIVE
I have a brand new one myself and it turns out it had a bad engine mount
