2.7 (185 Hp) Automatic Verdict:

Rating 3 stars

Performance Verdict

Paired with an automatic transmission, the 2.7L V6 H27 engine maintains its 185 Hp and 250 Nm, delivering similar acceleration (10 seconds 0-100 km/h) to the manual. It offers a smoother, more relaxed driving experience.

Fuel Economy

Fuel economy remains a concern, mirroring the manual version at 11.5 l/100 km combined. The automatic transmission might slightly exacerbate urban consumption, making it an expensive daily runner.

Best Use Case: Long-distance family travel and highway driving where the automatic transmission provides comfort. Suitable for those prioritizing ease of use over absolute fuel efficiency.

Pros and Cons:

Pros:

  • • Spacious 7-seater interior, practical for families
  • • Capable V6 engine with good torque for its class
  • • Robust and generally reliable powertrain
  • • Good ground clearance and all-wheel drive for light off-roading
  • • Affordable used market value

Cons:

  • • High fuel consumption, especially in urban areas
  • • Dated interior design and materials by modern standards
  • • Limited advanced safety features
  • • Ride can be somewhat unrefined on rougher roads
  • • Lack of Euro NCAP safety rating
