1.2 Turbo (136 Hp) Verdict:

Rating 8 stars

Performance Verdict

A capable and proven engine offering sufficient power for most driving scenarios. The 8.9-second acceleration is respectable, providing a confident feel on the road for a non-hybrid.

Fuel Economy

Decent fuel economy for a non-hybrid petrol engine in this segment, though it won't match the efficiency of the mild-hybrid variant.

Best Use Case: Drivers preferring a traditional manual gearbox, mixed driving, and those seeking a simpler, potentially lower-cost option.

Pros and Cons:

Pros:

  • • Stylish and distinctive design
  • • Diverse powertrain options including efficient MHEV and full EV
  • • Compact dimensions ideal for city driving and parking
  • • Modern interior with good technology features
  • • Comfortable ride for its class

Cons:

  • • Rear passenger and boot space can be tight compared to rivals
  • • Some interior materials might feel less premium than competitors
  • • EV range, while competitive, isn't class-leading
  • • Potential for a firm ride on larger wheel options
  • • Historical concerns with PureTech engine reliability (though improvements have been made)
