1.1 SR (67 Hp) Verdict:

Rating 3 stars

Performance Verdict

The 1.1 SR engine provides modest performance, suitable for relaxed cruising and city driving rather than spirited acceleration. Its 67 Hp is sufficient for the lightweight chassis but won't excite enthusiasts.

Fuel Economy

Given its small displacement and carburettor setup, fuel economy would be reasonable for the era, though not exceptional by modern standards. Expect moderate consumption.

Best Use Case: City / Leisure Cruising

Pros:

  • • Stunning, timeless design often compared to the Corvette.
  • • Engaging driving dynamics, especially with the 1.9L engine.

  • • Simple, robust mechanicals for easier maintenance.

Cons:

  • • Limited interior space and practicality (2-seater, small trunk).
  • • Lack of modern safety features.
