3.0 i (151 Hp) Verdict:

Rating 3 stars

Performance Verdict

The 3.0L V6 engine provides adequate power (151 Hp) for a minivan of its size and era, suitable for family duties and highway cruising. Acceleration is not brisk, but sufficient for daily driving.

Fuel Economy

Fuel economy is a notable drawback, with urban consumption at 14 l/100 km and extra-urban at 10 l/100 km. This is typical for a large V6 automatic minivan from the early 90s, but high by modern standards.

Best Use Case: Family transport, long-distance highway cruising, and general utility where space and comfort are prioritized over fuel efficiency or sporty performance.

Pros and Cons:

Pros:

  • • Spacious and versatile interior for families
  • • Comfortable ride quality for long journeys
  • • Adequate V6 power for its class and era
  • • Good cargo capacity with rear seats folded

Cons:

  • • High fuel consumption, especially in urban driving
  • • Dated safety features compared to modern vehicles
  • • Potentially sluggish acceleration due to weight and transmission
  • • Rear drum brakes may feel less responsive than discs
