Mini Paceman:
The Mini Paceman is a three-door subcompact crossover SUV sold by German automobile manufacturer BMW under the Mini brand. It is the three-door counterpart of the R60 Mini Countryman. It was introduced as the Paceman Concept at the 2011 North American International Auto Show. The production model debuted in September 2012.
Like the Countryman, the Paceman was offered with a choice of two or four-wheel drive , and with 1. 6-litre petrol or diesel and 2. 0-litre diesel inline four engines in various states of tune. R61 Overview:
Mini Paceman (R61). With 190 Nm of torque, it offers ample pulling power. It has moderate fuel consumption (~9.4 l/100km). With a weight of 1375 kg, it falls in the mid‑range. All‑wheel drive provides excellent grip, ideal for off‑road use. Acceleration is relatively slow (0–100 km/h in 11.6 s). The top speed reaches 186 km/h. A compact car with a rear door that swings upward to provide access to the cargo area. Seating for 4 makes it ideal for daily use.
The Mini Paceman R61 was not directly tested by Euro NCAP. Its sibling, the Mini Countryman R60, achieved a 5-star rating in 2010, suggesting a robust underlying safety platform.
