3.0 V6 (147 Hp) Verdict:

Rating 3 stars

Performance Verdict

The 147 Hp Vulcan V6 is the base offering, providing just enough power for basic transportation but feeling underpowered, especially when loaded or at highway speeds.

Fuel Economy

Fuel economy is only marginally better than the more powerful Vulcan, making it a less compelling choice given the performance compromise.

Best Use Case: Budget-conscious city driving and light duty where performance is not a priority.

Pros and Cons:

Pros:

  • • Spacious and comfortable interior for five adults
  • • Smooth and compliant ride quality
  • • Reliable Vulcan V6 engine options
  • • Large trunk capacity
  • • Excellent value on the used car market

Cons:

  • • Uninspired handling and steering feel
  • • Dated interior design by end of production
  • • Average fuel economy, especially in urban driving
  • • Some reports of transmission issues (AX4N)
  • • Exterior styling was polarizing for some
