Expert Note:
The McLaren F1 GTR was a purpose-built race car from 1996, designed for track performance and not subjected to consumer safety tests like Euro NCAP. Its safety features are primarily focused on racing regulations and driver protection in a competition environment, rather than pedestrian or occupant crash safety standards for road vehicles.

An absolutely phenomenal naturally aspirated V12, delivering relentless power and a thrilling soundtrack. Optimized for track performance, it offers breathtaking acceleration and top speed for its era.

Fuel Economy

Fuel economy is not a consideration for this race-bred engine. Expect very high fuel consumption, especially under track conditions, typical for a high-performance V12.

Beautiful. Thanks for taking the time to make this OP!
👎 NEGATIVE
I appreciate RedBull-Porsche but McLaren-Audi just sounds cursed. But TBH, anything which leads to more works teams is great
👎 NEGATIVE
Man, McLaren-Audi sounds like such a wierd mix. At least 2026 seems a reasonable target. They rushed things with Honda and that definitely contributed towards the disaster start they had. Also FIA plans on making the mguh a spec component, so that should make the challenge of developing a decent PU easier on these regulations.
👎 NEGATIVE
McLaren are not serious people.
👎 NEGATIVE
McLaren has to be a social experiment
👎 NEGATIVE
Prompt and decisive action as ever McLaren What do they do if they find it didn’t?
👎 NEGATIVE
McLaren has the fastest car this season but they still have a mid-field mentality, it’s incredible how many mistakes they are making. They haven’t learned anything from 2012 a year that they arguably had the fastest car and bottled massively both championships
😐 NEUTRAL
there's the FIA rules and then there's Papaya rules
😐 NEUTRAL
Jesus this is ridiculous. It was a great overtake and if they were indeee allowed to race at the beginning then fair play to Oscar. If McLaren want Lando to always be the lead car in a race then just use team orders and don't bet on him doing it with racecraft alone
😐 NEUTRAL
Papaya Rules are part of Papaya Club. First rule is, you do not talk about Papaya Club.
