I could be wrong, but I think B8 S4s also had a limit to how many launches you could do.
😐 NEUTRAL
I read on old Audi forums that my S3 might have the same thing! Apparently if I launch over 200 times it can void the warranty. Asked the dealership when I passed by last time and they said there’s no such thing but now I wonder....
😐 NEUTRAL
The F56 MINI does this as well. It limits you to 100 launches
😐 NEUTRAL
What does semi-permanently mean if the only way to bypass it is to void the warranty. Seems like it’s wholly permanent to Lambo.
😐 NEUTRAL
Makes sense, supercars are often driven to their limit and of all the supercar fanbases I feel like Lambo fans are probably the most reckless with their driving habits and having that limiter probably keeps them from spending alot in warranty repairs
👎 NEGATIVE
Launches are like the worst thing you can do to your drivetrain. I haven't launched my car yet since supercharging it and I'm honestly afraid to.
👍 POSITIVE
Lmao. Meanwhile, Porsche will let you do basically unlimited launches back to back if you wanted to.
😐 NEUTRAL
Well, it's still better than the first year of GTRs that would just mulch their own transmission if you used launch control more than twice lol
👎 NEGATIVE
I'd be surprised if all 4 wheels are not facing 4 different directions after 100 launches in a Huracan.
👎 NEGATIVE
My M3 CSL has this, except after 7 launches the gearbox falls out.
