3.2i V6 24V (205 Hp) 4WD Verdict:

Rating 4 stars

Performance Verdict

The 3.2L V6 provides strong acceleration and ample power for highway cruising and light towing, making it capable for its class. The 4WD system enhances off-road capability and all-weather traction.

Fuel Economy

Fuel economy is a notable drawback, with urban consumption around 14.7 l/100 km. This V6 is thirsty, reflecting its older design and the vehicle's weight, making it less ideal for daily city commuting.

Best Use Case: Highway cruising, towing, light off-road adventures, and suburban family transport where fuel economy is not the primary concern.

Pros and Cons:

Pros:

  • • Robust V6 engine with good power for its time
  • • Capable 4WD system for off-road and all-weather conditions
  • • Spacious interior and cargo capacity
  • • Good value on the used market
  • • Durable body-on-frame construction

Cons:

  • • Poor fuel economy, especially in urban driving
  • • Dated interior design and materials
  • • Ride quality can be truck-like and firm
  • • Limited advanced safety features compared to modern SUVs
  • • Reliability can be inconsistent compared to other Hondas (due to Isuzu origins)
