Rating 5 stars

Performance Verdict

Delivers strong performance, but its true strength lies in its specialized off-road capabilities and robust suspension, not just straight-line speed.

Fuel Economy

Fuel consumption is higher due to its aggressive tires, wider stance, and off-road tuning, but acceptable for a performance pickup.

Best Use Case: Exclusively designed for extreme off-road adventures, high-speed desert running, and those seeking the ultimate factory-built performance pickup.

Pros and Cons:

Pros:

  • • Excellent towing and payload capacity (up to 3500 kg)
  • • Strong off-road capability, especially the Raptor variant
  • • Wide range of efficient and powerful EcoBlue diesel engines
  • • Improved interior technology and comfort with the facelift
  • • Robust and durable build quality

Cons:

  • • Ride comfort can be firm, especially unladen, compared to SUVs
  • • Fuel economy for the 3.2 Duratorq engine is less competitive
  • • Large dimensions can make urban maneuvering challenging
  • • Rear drum brakes on some trims are a dated feature
