Rating 5 stars

Performance Verdict

The most engaging variant, offering robust V12 power combined with the driver involvement of a manual gearbox, making it a more spirited grand tourer.

Fuel Economy

Despite the manual transmission, fuel consumption remains high due to the large V12 engine, making it an expensive car to fuel.

Best Use Case: Enthusiast driving and spirited grand touring, where the manual gearbox enhances the connection between driver and machine.

Pros and Cons:

Pros:

  • • Elegant, understated Pininfarina styling
  • • Smooth and powerful V12 engine for grand touring
  • • Luxurious and comfortable 2+2 interior
  • • Relatively rare and unique Ferrari model

Cons:

  • • High running and maintenance costs typical of classic Ferraris
  • • Automatic transmission can feel dated compared to modern units
  • • Not as overtly sporty or iconic as other Ferrari models
  • • Complex fuel injection system (Bosch K-Jetronic) can be tricky to maintain
