Citroen LN A 1.1 (50 Hp)
Overall Rating
Citroen LN:
The Citroën LN and Citroën LNA are front-engine, front-drive, three-door, four passenger hatchback city cars manufactured and marketed by Citroën from 1976 to 1986 over a single generation — as a badge engineered variant of the Peugeot 104, introduced shortly after the takeover of Citroën by Peugeot.
The added "A" used in the name of the bigger engined LNA stood for Athlétique. Its noise figure is 69 decibels.
The LN was introduced in July 1976. It combined the bodyshell of the Peugeot 104 Z with the economical 602 cc two-cylinder gasoline engine of the Citroën 2CV. Equipment levels were low, but the LN's key selling points were its low price and running costs....(Read more on Wikipedia)
A Overview:
Citroen LN (A). Weighing only 760 kg, it’s quite light. Front‑wheel drive delivers efficiency and easy handling. The top speed reaches 140 km/h. A compact car with a rear door that swings upward to provide access to the cargo area. Seating for 4 makes it ideal for daily use.
The Citroen LNA A generation predates modern safety testing standards like Euro NCAP, which commenced in 1997. As a vehicle from the early 1980s, it lacks contemporary safety features and would offer minimal occupant protection by today's standards.
