4.0 V8 (500 Hp) Verdict:

Rating 5 stars

Performance Verdict

The V8 offers strong, responsive performance with a more sporting character than the W12, yet still provides ample power for all driving situations. It feels lighter and more agile.

Fuel Economy

Significantly more fuel-efficient than the W12, making it a more sensible choice for daily driving without sacrificing much in terms of performance. Still a thirsty engine, but comparatively better.

Best Use Case: Mixed driving, offering a good balance of performance for highways and slightly better economy for urban environments.

Pros and Cons:

Pros:

  • • Unrivaled luxury and craftsmanship in the interior.
  • • Exceptional ride comfort and refinement.
  • • Powerful and smooth engine options (W12 and V8).
  • • Impressive high-speed stability and composure.
  • • Strong road presence and prestige.

Cons:

  • • Very high purchase price and significant depreciation.
  • • Substantial running costs, especially fuel and maintenance.
  • • Large dimensions can make city driving and parking challenging.
