5.6 V8 (270 Hp) TorqueFlite Verdict:
Performance Verdict
Paired with the innovative TorqueFlite automatic transmission, this 5.6L V8 offered smooth and responsive power delivery. The 270 Hp provided strong acceleration, with the automatic enhancing driving comfort and ease, especially in urban settings.
Fuel Economy
Similar to the manual version, fuel economy remains a significant drawback. The automatic transmission might slightly impact efficiency, but overall, it's a thirsty engine designed for power, not parsimony.
