The Audi A3 is a small family car manufactured and marketed by the German automaker Audi AG since September 1996.
The first two generations of the Audi A3 were based on the Volkswagen Group A platform, while the third and fourth generations use the Volkswagen Group MQB platform.

Audi A3 (8P, facelift 2008). With 350 Nm of torque, it offers ample pulling power. It has moderate fuel consumption (~7.2 l/100km). With a weight of 1515 kg, it falls in the mid‑range. Front‑wheel drive delivers efficiency and easy handling. Acceleration is good (0–100 km/h in 7.8 s). The top speed reaches 220 km/h.
