Type:
Powertrain - Auxiliary Emission Controls - ISO/SAE Controlled
Description:
EVAP Purge System Fault Conditions
Cause:
Engine at idle speed, ECT sensor input over 170°F, then the PCM commanded the EVAP solenoid open and closed and detected that the change in fuel compensation and in the IAC motor position were below a predetermined range

Type:
Powertrain - Auxiliary Emission Controls - ISO/SAE Controlled
Description:
EVAP System Fault Conditions
Cause:
Cold start warm-up completed, engine running in closed loop at steady state conditions, then the PCM detected insufficient EVAP system flow with the solenoid energized

Type:
Powertrain - Auxiliary Emission Controls - ISO/SAE Controlled
Description:
EVAP System Fault Conditions
Cause:
No ECT, FTP, IAT, MAP or TP sensor codes set, DTC P0443 and P0449 not active, system voltage 10-18v, BARO input more than 75 kPa, ECT and IAT sensor inputs from 39-884° F at startup, IAT input not more than 7°F higher than the ECT input at startup, ECT input not more than 14°F higher than the IAT input at startup, fuel tank level between 15-85%, IAT input less than 86°F, VSS input less than 80 mph, then the PCM detected that the EVAP system was unable to achieve or maintain vacuum during the test period
